"The Bach Project"

Choreographed by Li Chiao-Ping in 2003, 7 dancers

The Bach Project consists of solos, duets and group dances choreographed to J.S. Bach’s “Six Suites for Unaccompanied Cello.”  Musically, five of the suites have been re-invented while one has preserved Bach's original score.  Each dance-suite is choreographed to reflect the bravura, subtlety, passion, and humor of the music.
