"Gó, Sides A + B"

6 dancers, 20 min., 1995 and 2002
Choreographed by Li Chiao-Ping

The title, , comes from a Chinese board game of strategy in war.  Not unlike women warriors, these five dancers perform a kind of war dance for modern times.  The angst-ridden tutu-clad dancers bourrée their way into a frenzy, leading to even more surprises.
