Focusing on two ports of entry into the United States - Angel Island and Ellis Island - Li and Rosenberg interweave spoken text with Rosenberg's acclaimed, poignant visual designs and Li's signature, inventive movement to engage stories of immigration from past to present. The Landed program begins with a nuanced solo titled "Murmurs" by acclaimed choreographer Doug Varone, made for performer Linda Belans, and "daughter", a screendance work choreographed, directed, and performed by Li Chiao-Ping.
